WHAT IS A TERRACE HOUSE?
Terrace Houses, otherwise known as Multi-Dwelling Housing, are homes which are attached to one another facing a public road.
They are typically two storey homes formed in a row.
To achieve an effective internal layout, each dwelling needs to have a minimum width of 7.5metres, The use of private open space; arranged at the rear of the property; and the use of courtyards, will provide natural daylight to the middle of the dwelling.
Car parking for terrace homes can be to the primary road, rear lane access, or basement parking depending on the block.
The development can be subdivided into Torrens Title lots or Strata Title lots if there are common areas (in the case of basement parking).
